The National Historical Commission of the Philippines announces an updated list of open museums effective 16 June 2016. This follows recent resolutions of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Diseases (IATF).

The following museums are open with varying limited capacity:

  2. NHCP Museo ni Ramon Magsaysay, Castillejos, Zambales
  3. NHCP Museo at Aklatan ni Diosdado Macapagal, Lubao, Pampanga
  4. NHCP Museo ni Mariano Ponce, Baliuag, Bulacan
  5. NHCP Museo ng Kasaysayang Pampulitika ng Pilipinas, Casa Real, Malolos City, Bulacan
  6. NHCP Museo ng Republika ng 1899, Barasoain, Malolos City, Bulacan
  7. NHCP Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar, Bulakan, Bulacan
  8. NHCP Museo ni Manuel Quezon, Quezon Memorial Shrine, Quezon City
  9. NHCP Presidential Car Museum, Quezon Memorial Shrine, Quezon City
  10. NHCP Museo ni Apolinario Mabini PUP, Santa Mesa, Manila
  11. NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila (starting 20 June)*
  12. NHCP Museo ng Katipunan, Pinaglabanan Memorial Shrine, San Juan City
  13. NHCP Museo El Deposito, Pinaglabanan Memorial Shrine, San Juan City
  14. NHCP Museo ni Apolinario Mabini Tanauan, Tanauan City, Batangas
  15. NHCP Museo ni Miguel Malvar, Santo Tomas City, Batangas
  16. NHCP Museo ng Pamana at Kasaysayang Boholano, Loay, Bohol

The rest of the NHCP museums remain closed in compliance with local and national pronouncements.*

  1. NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Fort Santiago is preparing for the opening of an exhibit on 19 June.
  2. NHCP Museum of Philippine Social History is closed due to ongoing restoration work.
  3. NHCP Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo, NHCP Museo ni Baldomero Aguinaldo, NHCP Museo ng Paglilitis ni Andres Bonifacio, NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Calamba, and NHCP Museo ng Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan are closed in compliance with IATF Resolution No. 121 Section A(iv) (f).
  4. NHCP Museo nina Marcela MariƱo at Felipe Agoncillo and NHCP Museo nina Leon at Galicano Apacible are closed in compliance with municipal Executive Order No. 31 s. 2021.
  5. NHCP Museo ni Jesse Robredo, NHCP Museum of Philippine Economic History, and NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Dapitan are located in areas under enhanced community quarantine per IATF Resolution Nos. 118-A and 121.
