The National Historical Commission of the Philippines will inaugurate an exhibit, “Victory & Humanity: The Quincentennial Art Competition” at the ManilART 2021: The National Art Fair on 20 October, 3 pm, at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, Taguig City. It features the twelve (12) winning entries of the Quincentennial Art Competition which concluded this year.

The exhibit was organized by the NHCP in its capacity as secretariat of the National Quincentennial Committee which was tasked to lead the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan and other related historic events—collectively known as the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines (2021 QCP). It will run until 24 October 2021.

NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine History through its museums and publications, and preserve the nation’s historical heritage.
