SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Executive Director Ludovico D. Badoy, will unveil the historical marker Pampanga High School on Tuesday, 14  August 2018, 9:00 a.m. in San Fernando City, Pampanga. The marker states:

ITINATAG SA SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA, 1902. PANSAMANTALANG NAGDAOS NG KLASE SA GUSALING BUISON HANGGANG MALIPAT SA BAGONG GUSALI MALAPIT SA KAPITOLYO, 1908. NAGTAPOS ANG UNANG PANGKAT NG MGA MAG-AARAL, 1912. DITO NAGTAPOS NG SEKONDARYANG EDUKASYON ANG PANGULONG DIOSDADO P. MACAPAGAL. 1929. DEMETRIO ANDRES, UNANG PILIPINONG PUNONG-GURO, 1935. Executive Director Badoy will officially turn over the marker to the Pampanga High School through Ms. Fe Rosalinda Caylao.  Mayor Edwin D. Santiago and Vice Mayor Jimmy T. Lazatin will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine history through its museums, research and publication, and preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.
