BALIUAG, BULACAN ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Deputy Executive Director for Administration Carminda R. Arevalo, will unveil the historical marker Felipe Salvador on Wednesday, 26 May 2021, 8:00 a.m. in Baliuag North Central Elementary School, Baliuag, Bulacan. The marker states:

                                    TAGAPAGTAGUYOD NG KALAYAAN SA PAGSAMBA AT NG KARAPATAN NG MARALITA. ISINILANG, BALIUAG, BULACAN, 26 MAYO 1870. NAGING KASAPI NG GABINISTA, ISANG KAPATIRANG RELIHIYOSO NG MGA MARALITA  SA PAMPANGA. MULING ITINATAG ANG GABINISTA BILANG SANTA IGLESIA MATAPOS LANSAGIN NG MGA GUARDIA CIVIL, 1894. KASAMA SA NANGUNA SA PAG-AALSA NG MGA KAPAMPANGAN LABAN SA MGA ESPANYOL, APALIT, 19 PEBRERO 1898, AT MACABEBE, PAMPANGA, 22 PEBRERO 1898. KINILALA ANG PAMAHALAANG REBOLUSYONARYO, HUNYO 1898. Deputy Executive Director Arevalo will officially turn over the marker to the Municipal Mayor of Baliuag, Bulacan Ferdinand V. Estrella.   Governor Daniel Fernando of the Province of Bulacan, and DepEd-Baliuag Superintendent Mrs.  Arceli  Ralleta will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.
