INTRAMUROS, MANILA ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its OIC-Executive Director Carminda R. Arevalo, will unveil the historical marker, “The Manila Times” on 11 October 2023, 1:00 p.m. The marker states:

OIC-Exec. Dir. Arevalo will officially turn over the marker to Dr. Dante Ang, Chairman Emeritus of the Manila Times. Manila Times Chairman and CEO Dante Francis Ang II and NHCP Deputy Executive Director Alvin R. Alcid will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

Dr. Ang will deliver his acceptance message.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.
