LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by Deputy Executive Director for Programs and Projects Veronica A. Dado, unveils on Tuesday, 27 September 2016, the historical marker “Benguet State University,” in La Trinidad, Benguet. The marker states:

The marker will be officially turned over to the President of Benguet State University through Dr. Feliciano G. Calora, Jr. BSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Tessie M. Merestela will stand as witness during the signing of the certificate of transfer.
The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine historical heritage through research and publication, conservation and marking of historic sites and structures, and administration of national shrines and museums.
