LUBAO, PAMPANGA – The National Historical Commission of the Philippines, in cooperation with the Municipal Government of Lubao, Pampanga, will lead the commemorative program for the 113th Birth Anniversary of President Diosdado Macapagal on 28 September 2023 at the Museo at Aklatan ni Diosdado Macapagal.

The program will be graced by Mr. Tyrone DC. Nepomuceno, Senior High School Teacher from the University of Santo Tomas as guest of honor, with NHCP OIC-Executive Director Carminda R. Arevalo, Mrs. Cielo Macapagal-Salgado of the Macapagal Family, Governor Dennis G. Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia G. Pineda from the Pampanga Provincial Government, Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda and Vice Mayor Jay Montemayor from the Lubao Municipal Government, and representatives from the Department of Education – Lubao also offering wreaths in memory of the former president.

The NHCP is the principal government agency mandated with strengthening our people’s nationalism through the promotion of Philippine history and preservation of our cultural heritage.
