ILOILO CITY ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Executive Director Ludovico D. Badoy, will unveil on Friday, 9 February 2018 at 9:00 a.m., the historical marker Gusali ng Iloilo-Acacia Masonic Lodge No. 11 . The marker states:

ITINAYO ANG GUSALI NG LOHIYA SA PANGUNGUNA NI WB THOMAS N. POWELL, 1927-1928. GINAMIT BILANG HIMPILAN NG MGA SUNDALONG HAPON NOONG IKALAWANG DIGMAANG PANDAIGDIG. ISINAAYOS, 1945 AT PINASINAYAAN BILANG ILOILO-ACACIA LODGE, NO. 11, 1947.

Executive Director Badoy will officially turn over the marker to the Masonic Temple Association of Iloilo through VW Gil Joseph Octaviano III. WB Anthony Andrew C. Gustilo, PM and NHCP Chief Historical Preservation Division Archt. Reynaldo S. Lita will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine history through its museums, research and publication, and preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.
