  1. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), through the Government Appropriation Act 2019 (GAA) intends to apply the sum of Php 8,686,899.77 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for:

Restoration of St. John the Baptist Parish Church (Phase 2) Bato, Catanduanes
 

 Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

  1. The NHCP now invites bids for Restoration of St. John the Baptist Parish Church (Phase 2). Completion of the Works is 240 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
  2. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.

  1. Interested bidders may obtain further information from NHCP and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
  2. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders from the address below and upon the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB in the amount of Php 10,000.00.

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

  1. The NHCP will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on 4 January 2019, 9:30 A.M. at 2nd floor Board Room, NHCP Building, T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila, which shall be open to prospective bidders
  2. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 17 January 2019 before 9:00 A.M. at Records Section, Ground Floor, NHCP Building, T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.

NHCP unveils the historical marker and turn over the restored project for Simbahan ng Magdalena

MAGDALENA, LAGUNA ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Acting Executive Director Ludovico D. Badoy, will unveil the historical marker and turn over the completed restoration project for Simbahan ng Magdalena on Tuesday, 11 December 2018, 9:00 a.m. in Magdalena, Laguna. The marker states:

Acting Executive Director Badoy will officially turn over the marker to the Diocese of San Pablo through Most Rev. Buenaventura M. Famadico, D.D.  Magdalena Mayor David O. Aventurado, Jr., Rev. Fr. Andres V. Olasco, Jr. and Archt. Reynaldo S. Lita, NHCP Chief Historic Preservation Division will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.

Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea to lead the 155th Birth Anniversary of Andres Bonifacio

Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea representing President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, will lead the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies at the Bonifacio National Monument, Caloocan City on 30 November 2018, 3:30 p.m. in commemoration of the 155th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio. 

He will be assisted by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Chairman Rene R. Escalante; NHCP Acting Executive Director Ludovico D. Badoy; AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Carlito G. Galvez, Jr.; First District of Caloocan Congressman Gale Gonzalo Malapitan; Second District of Caloocan Congressman Edgar R. Erice; Caloocan City Mayor Oscar G. Malapitan; and Mr. Ron Paulo Bonifacio, representing the Bonifacio family.

This year’s commemorative program is led by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), in coordination with the City Government of Caloocan and other government agencies.

Other historical sites commemorating the event are the Bonifacio Trial House, Maragondon, Cavite; Bonifacio Memorial Shrine, beside Manila City Hall; Bonifacio Monument, Balintawak (Cloverleaf), Quezon City; Bonifacio Monument, Tutuban Center, Manila; and the Bonifacio Monument, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
