WHEREAS, The National Historical Commission of the Philippines Bids and Awards Committee (NHCP-BAC) invited pre-qualified contractor J.S. Lim Construction and Trading for the above stated project on 09 February 2021;

 WHEREAS, the BAC applied the Negotiated Procurement since the subject contract is contiguous to an on-going project wherein in the original contract, which is for Maintenance Works at the Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite (awarded to the same contractor pursuant to BAC Resolution No. 21 s. 2020) was a result of a Competitive Bidding, the subject contract to be negotiated has related scope of works, it is within the contracting capacity of the contractor, the contractor did not charge for any mobilization cost and the amount involved does not exceed the amount of the on-going project;

WHEREAS, J.S. Lim Construction and Trading has no negative slippage and that the performance was found satisfactory as accepted by the end user;

 WHEREAS, J.S. Lim Construction and Trading submitted its quotation amounting to Four Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand Six Hundred Sixteen Pesos and 40/100 (₱ 493,616.40) based on the Scope of Work furnished by the NHCP;

NOW THEREFORE, upon unanimous decision and approval of the NHCP-BAC during its 09 February 2021 deliberation, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that award of contract for Maintenance Works at the Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite (Contiguous) be made to J.S. Lim Construction and Trading. with the amount of Four Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand Six Hundred Sixteen Pesos and 40/100 (₱ 493,616.40).
