The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), through a memorandum signed by the Chairperson, formally invites undergraduate students from recognized Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to participate in Kasiklaban 2025: The NHCP Quiz Bee on Philippine History and Heritage. Scheduled on 1 August 2025 in celebration of Buwan ng Kasaysayan, the event will be held as part of HistoEx 2025.

Kasiklaban 2025 is a one-day academic competition designed to foster historical awareness, critical thinking, and civic pride among the Filipino youth. It serves as a platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge of Philippine history and heritage in a scholarly yet engaging setting, while cultivating a deeper appreciation for the nation’s past and its ongoing legacy.
