Through Executive Order No. 359, enacted on 9 October 1959, which segregated the barrios and sitios of San Isidro, Buhing Kalipay, Pacifico, Tambakan, Landahan, San Miguel, Roxas, and Tigasao, all from the Municipality of Numancia, the Municipality of San Isidro, in the Province of Surigao del Norte, was created.
