CANAMAN, CAMARINES SUR ─ The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Commissioner and Chairman, Dr. Rene R. Escalante, will unveil on Wednesday, 8 March 2017 at 9:00 a.m., the historical marker Tangcong Vaca Guerilla Unit, in line with the 75th anniversary of its establishment. The marker states:

Chairman Escalante will officially turn over the marker to the Municipal Government of Canaman, Camarines Sur through Mayor Henry P. Ragodon. Vice Mayor Roberto Requejo and NHCP Deputy Executive Director Carminda R. Arevalo will stand as witnesses during the signing of the certificate of transfer.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine history through its museums, research and publication, and preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.
